Thank you for pageviews and comments today and sorry for no posts until now. I won't bore you with all the places I have been except Arnside. See image. Sometimes what you get here is not posts about Poul Anderson and other sf writers but "The Life and Times of Your Blogger" but I have been told that this can be interesting.
There are going to be posts about:
juvenile fiction in CS Lewis, Robert Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, James Blish and Poul Anderson;
Westerns and sf;
narrative points of view in Ian Fleming and Poul Anderson;
maybe a pulling together of the posts about Anderson's references to "one spiral arm."
However:
tomorrow is the annual May Day March through Lancaster;
tomorrow evening is the Goth Night with a band although I will skip that this time because -
Sunday is a trip to the monastery for Wesak, the Buddha's Birthday.
Sometimes Life interrupts Art. Keep up the good work out there.

Mr Stirling,
Thank you.
Paul.
Kaor, Paul!
And I'm interested by the vignettes you give us of life in and around Lancaster!
May day? I'm reminded of the ingenious made by Flandry of that ancient emergency code word in "A Message in Secret." Which also has to be the funniest of the Flandry stories!
