"How To Be Ethnic In One Easy Lesson."
"Wingless."
"Rescue on Avalon."
These three works form a trilogy of short stories about young protagonists addressed to young audiences and set in different periods and locations of Poul Anderson's Technic History:
San Francisco Integrate in the Solar Commonwealth;
the colonization of the Hesperian Islands on Avalon;
the colonization of the Coronan continent on Avalon.
The equivalent, longer, installment of Anderson's Time Patrol series is "The Year of the Ransom." A non-series equivalent is "Escape The Morning." See also here.
Maybe The Game Of Empire is a novel-length equivalent in the Dominic Flandry period of the Technic History?
Again, we would like to read a lot more of such juvenile fiction along with everything else. (CS Lewis wrote two parallel series of adult sf and juvenile fantasy.)

Kaor, Paul!
I might have included in your list "The Season of Forgiveness." That too is a story featuring a young character on one of the planets seen in the Technic series. Altho you would need a word different from "trilogy."
Yes, when we see her in THE GAME OF EMPIRE, Diana Crowfeather is a young lady of 17. Even younger than her father Sir Dominic was in ENSIGN FLANDRY!

Sean,
"The Season of Forgiveness" was published in BOY'S LIFE so should be on the list which now becomes a tetralogy.
Paul.
Kaor, Paul!
We agree! And "tetralogy" was the word I was trying to recall.
