Alien Social Arrangements

An Andersonian exercise - compare and contrast:

Merseian Vachs;
Ythrian choths;
Monwaingi Societies;
the Gathering of Sehala on Ishtar;
any other alien societies.

I am not going to exhaustively analyze these societies right now. Each Vach is led by a Hand, not a Head. A Merseian is born into a Vach and cannot change it. Choths differ in their internal organization. An Ythrian can apply for membership of another choth, found a new one or, on Avalon, become a Walker, adopting the human lifestyle of an atomic individual within the global community. Do Walkers vote in the Parliament of Man? Avalonian human beings can join choths. Members of any choth can attend a regional or planetary Khruath.

Monwaingi Societies are entirely separate and different, in some cases effectively changing their species through genetic manipulation. Ishtarians gather but have no need for a state.

Kaor, Paul!

I hope Ythrian "Walkers" are not foolish enough to scorn their ability to fly and get about only by WALKING. Ythrians simply don't have the right kind of BODIES for prolonged walking. I assume Avalonian Walkers belong to no choths at all if they preferred to be wholly individualistic and atomized. That might make them prefer to register as voters for the Parliament of Man on Avalon. Because their refusal to join any choths probably means not being allowed to participate in any khruaths.

Sean,
I am sure that they do not just walk!

I sure hope not! And I still think "Walkers" belonging to no choths are not allowed to debate and vote in khruaths.

Sean,
Correct because the supreme Ythrian authority on Avalon is the Great Kruath of all the Choths.

I thought so! And that leaves only the Parliament of Man on Avalon if "Walkers" wish to have a political role.
