On Alfzar in the Betelgeusean system, the Alfzarian hosts and their Terran and Merseian guests hunt Borthudian dragons in one-person airjets armed with needle-beam energy projectors. The Merseian delegation includes a single Chereionite, Aycharaych, who shoots down one of the dragons:
"Cleanly slain, the great creature toppled Lucifer-like." (p. 286)
This sentence is both a Biblical reference and a Technic History-Time Patrol parallel. See here. How many of the latter we have found I have no idea.

I too immediately thought of Isaiah 14, and went on to look up and read the NAB's translation of that text. Because I thought it better than than the AV.
