Liaw of The Tarns is described as:
"...Wyvan of the High Khruath..." (V, p. 493)
- then as:
"The High Wyvan..." (p. 494)
- but later he announces:
"'We are met in the Great Khruath of Avalon, that free folk may choose their way.'" (XI, p. 560)
I do not think that there is any significance in this change of terminology. The High Khruath of the planet meets every six years and also in extraordinary circumstances, none more extraordinary than war. Maybe a Great Khruath is a High Khruath held in very extraordinary circumstances or maybe - and I think that this is more likely - Planha-speaking Ythrians are not as precise in their terminology even for official purposes as human beings usually are.

For humans at least it's usually very desirable to be exact and precise in terminology, to avoid confusion and misunderstanding.
Besides being Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week, big thing for me today was beginning the relocation of my Andersonian collection to a more accessible part of my house.
