See some proposed additions to the Psychotechnic History Chronology here.
According to my guesstimates, Traveler set off and was lost over a decade before New Hope suffered the same fate. However, Traveler carried both men and women, not a single-sex complement. (See here.) I think that the explanation is that Traveler was bound for Alpha Centauri where an extra-solar colony had already been established by a slower than light expedition which we saw under way in "The Troublemakers." Other colonies had also been founded by STL ships but then the procedure described in "Virgin Planet" was adopted after the introduction of FTL. This has taken us a long way from the sociological preoccupations of the opening instalments of the Psychotechnic History but the series returns to its origins with the active role of psychotechnicians in the further future of the concluding instalment, "The Chapter Ends," when, ironically, Earth, which has populated so many other planets, must now be evacuated.

Kaor, Paul!
But "The Chapter Ends" is so different from the undoubted Psychotecnic stories that I don't think it belongs in that series.
Ad astra! Sean
