(ii) Supra-light spaceships: 

10 instalments = 2 early + 8 Stellar Union.

(iii) Supra-light human beings!: 

1 instalment = Galactic civilization.

I reason thus:

"The Chapter Ends" is probably in Sandra Miesel's Chronology because it was in Poul Anderson's Chronology in Startling Stories, Winter 1955;

if "The Chapter Ends" was in Anderson's Chronlogy, then it is part of the Psychotechnic History;

"The Chapter Ends" features psychotechnicians;

its Galactic civilization is a possible outcome long after the Stellar Union and the Third Dark Ages, just as the period of the Commonalty comes long after the Long Night in Anderson's Technic History.
