finishing reading SM Stirling's as yet unpublished novel;
rereading Poul Anderson's Rustum History, then two other authors' sequels to its last installment, then one of the three Time Patrol stories by other authors;
rereading other works although not posting about them;
posting on Comics Appreciation.
More could be said about Larry Niven's Time Patrol story but maybe not now. I think that the main questions about the mutable - or now immutable? - timeline have been discussed. So what is next? I think the story, "Home," which is presented as coming after "The Queen of Air and Darkness" although it really doesn't and that will lead on to the other three stories that might fit into a single future history with "Home" as well as "In The Shadow," the one remaining story in The Queen Of Air And Darkness And Other Stories.

I would not include Anderson's "In The Shadow" as one of the Directorate stories, because we see yet another, and different, gov't ruling Earth, a "Gearchy" whose head was the Gearch Huang III. Was Earth conquered and unified by China?

I know that "In The Shadow" is not a Directorate story. I just meant that I will read it after them.
