In the Foreword to his collection, The Queen Of Air And Darkness And Other Stories, Poul Anderson ascribes the concept of "shadow matter" to K. Nishijima and M.H. Saffouri. Anderson obviously refers to "In The Shadow," one of the stories in this collection.
What, if any, is the relationship between:
Shadow Matter
Dark Matter
Antimatter?
James Blish's The Triumph Of Time is about antimatter.
We can get interested in a historical period by reading historical fiction and in science by reading science fiction but, like Socrates, I am a philosopher, not a scientist, i.e., I am interested in conceptual understanding, not in all the technical details. But the scientists are right. They have changed the world.

And what kind of civilization is NEEDED for a real science to arise? We see Poul Anderson answering that in stories like "Delenda Est" or non-fictional works like IS THERE LIFE ON OTHER WORLDS?
