It seems that an organizational form or at least its terminology has survived from Earth:
"'Some Directors did vote to keep hands off Vaynamo.'" (p. 133)
"'I'll be governor of [Vaynamo]. The Directorate has as good as promised me.'" (p. 134)
"'...the Directorate makes policy!'" (ibid.)
Only a word but it strengthens the impression that "Time Lag" completes what we have identified as the Directorate future history.

And this use of "Directors/Directorate" does at least tenuously ties "Time Lag" to "Home" and "The Alien Enemy."
