That is the full complement: all human although the factor at least is from a colony planet. League crews can include other species, notably Wodenites and Cynthians, and indeed the quarterly freight ship is Cynthian.

I don't think it's so surprising the complement of the trading base on Suleiman were all human. Due to the FTL hyperdrive being invented first on Earth in that part of the galaxy some two centuries before "Esau," humans simply had a head start on other races. Making them "ubiquitous," as Aycharaych was to say centuries later in THE DAY OF THEIR RETURN. Which did not prevent other races, like the Cynthians, from also becoming star farers.
