Another Country

 

"...but that was in another country,
"And besides, the wench is dead."

These lines are quoted in Poul Anderson's "The Master Key" and in Neil Gaiman's The SandmanThe Doll's House and indeed are also quoted elsewhere because I recognize them in any case but have I checked on their source before? Well, here it is.
