I think of my blogs as a backyard in a side street in a suburb of the city of thought. Memory Lane connects this suburb to Main Street which is Thought even before it has been differentiated into non-fiction, like the philosophy of Hegel, and fiction, like Poul Anderson's early space operas. Everything remembered informs everything written. We inherit language, therefore the ability to think, from all the thoughts that have preceded ours. It is fitting and proper to thank our ancestors.

Kaor, Paul!
Absolutely! We stand on the shoulders of giants, including unjustly neglected titans like Poul Anderson.
Ad astra! Sean
