Further Visions

Fleeing the Morlocks, the Time Traveler travels into a further future and sees the end of life on Earth.

Banished by his rival, Vargor, Martin Saunders travels into a further future and survives the end of the universe.

Like Olaf Stapledon, Poul Anderson succeeds and transcends HG Wells.

"Flight to the Future" is pulp adventure fiction. Tau Zero is a classic statement of cyclical cosmology. Genesis is cosmic sf that will not be outmoded for a long time, if ever.

Kaor, Paul!

While I agree GENESIS improves on and surpasses TAU ZERO, I would include STAR FARERS as well, even if the time scales in that book is not as vast and sweeping as in the other two.

Ad astra! Sean
