A Perfect Haiku II

See A Perfect Haiku.

This evening, I remembered the haiku in Poul Anderson's Genesis and reflected that what it says is: life is beautiful but brief. Rereading the post linked above, I see that I summarized the haiku in precisely these words in April 2012.

Now I notice that this sentence has exactly seven syllables and thus might form the middle line of a haiku reflecting on Anderson's haiku, e.g.:

Anderson's haiku:
"Life is beautiful but brief."
All we know and need.
