SM Stirling, Against the Tide Of Years (New York, 1999), Chapter Six, pp. 98-119.
Chapter Six begins with this list of dates:
November, Year 8 A.E.
(November, Year 6 A.E.)
(June, Year 7 A.E.)
December, Year 8 A.E.
(June, Year 7 A.E.)
The chapter is divided into six unnumbered sections:
Nantucketers, pp. 98-99;
Walker, pp. 99-104;
Nantucketers, pp. 104-112;
Walker, pp. 112-114;
Nantucketers, pp. 114-116;
Walker, pp. 116-119.
On pp. 98-99, the Nantucket expeditionary force prepares to cross the Atlantic (November, 8 A.E.);
on pp. 104-112, the force is in the Caribbean (December, 8 A.E.);
on pp. 114-116, the force meets a Nantucket trader (December, 8 A.E.).
On pp. 99-104, Walker is with Cuddy, then Hong (November, 6 A.E.);
on pp. 112-114, Walker and Odikweos leave Neayoruk (June, 7 A.E.);
on pp. 116-119, they reach Walker's palace (June, 7 A.E.).
I laboriously worked this out, thinking that it was going to prove to be inconsistent. It would be easier if the appropriate date were directly above each section.

Kaor, Paul!
I agree, I think it would have been better if Stirling had placed the dates of the different sections of this chapter at their beginnings. And so on for many other chapters of the book.
