"Nicholas van Rijn left his desk and waddled across to the transparency that made one entire wall of his office. From this height, he could overlook a sweep of slim city towers, green parkscape, Sunda Straits flashing under Earth's lordly sky."
-Poul Anderson, "The Trouble Twisters" IN Anderson, David Falkayn: Star Trader (Riverdale, NY, March 2010), pp. 77-208 AT II, p. 97.
Thus, van Rijn interviews:
Captain Torres and David Falkayn in his office in Djakarta;
Emil Dalmady, Per Stenvik with others and David and Coya Falkayn in his penthouse at the Winged Cross.
Five interviews in two venues: these settings are economically reused.
Van Rijn stars in a collection, then cameos in Falkayn's collection, then both characters star in two novels, then both reappear in the Polesotechnic League section of The Earth Book of Stormgate. That is all but it is a lot.

Kaor, Paul!
That bit about Old Nick WADDLING might make it easy for some people to underestimate him. And that would be a very bad mistake!
Ad astra! Sean
