A Civic Harvest Festival Meal

Lobster bisque;
broiled clams with herbed-crumb crust;
suckling pig with an apple in its mouth;
gravy;
scalloped potatoes;
roast garlic;
cauliflower au gratin;
sliced onions and tomatoes in oil and vinegar;
steamed peas;
butternut squash;
wilted spinach with shallot dressing;
lentils with thyme;
potato-and-lobster-claw salad;
green salad;
whole-wheat bread with butter;
dessert -

- followed by dancing.

Kaor, Paul!

From time to time in the works of Poul Anderson we see descriptions of foods and meals. And how some characters, such as Nicholas van Rijn, were gourmands. But Stirling has surpassed Anderson in matters gustatory! (Smiles)
