The Proserpina file on the net is DNA ID protected but Aleka has a sample of Venator's DNA, acquired by Lilisaire! Venator has asked "the guardian" (p. 380) to alert him if the file is accessed but Aleka suspects that he might have done this so she asks Traffic Control to inform her if any high-speed flying vehicle suddenly leaves Chicago Integrate, where the nearest Peace Authority base is located, and moves toward Prajnaloka where she and Kenmuir are accessing the cybercosm. Thus, Aleka has time first to ascertain that Proserpina in Edmond Beynac's planetoid and secondly to escape before being arrested.

Now tat is intriguing, using DNA to protect encrypted files. We have real world analogs such certain persons needing to have their eyes or fingerprints scanned before being able to enter classified/authorized personnel only rooms. Anderson took that idea to the next steps, using DNA identification to protect FILES.
