This came to me in meditation. The list can be as long as you like.
Adzel and Yamamura (two Buddhists, the latter remembering the meeting as a dream);
Adzel and Axor (Wodenite converts to Terrestrial religions);
Gratillonius, Bond and Flandry (agents of Imperial Rome, post-Imperial Britain and Imperial Terra);
Argos and Molitor (the Founder and the Usurper);
the Time Traveler and Manse Everard (how time travel began in one timeline and how it wound up in another);
Kimball Kinnison and Dominic Flandry (a hero from a universe with a black and white morality meets a flawed hero from an ambiguous universe).
Need I elaborate?

Kaor, Paul!
Given the science fictional touches we sometimes see in the Yamamura books, it's not totally implausible to think of Trygve Yamamura visiting the Old Phoenix inn.
Since Nicholas van Rijn DID visit the Old Phoenix, I agree Dominic Flandry could or should have also been a guest there.
Considering how A KNIGHT OF GHOSTS AND SHADOWS says the Founder of the Empire would have been either appalled by Hans Molitor or given him a nod of approval, it would be intriguing if Manuel Argos could have met the Reluctant Usurper at the Old Phoenix.
Rather oddly, I never came across and read the Lensman stories when I was a boy, which would probably have been the best time to do so.
Another thought I had was wondering if Taverner and his wife, the Proprietors of the Old Phoenx, were DANELLIANS!
Ad astra! Sean
