In Hell

Badly injured in the avalanche and with frost inside his helmet, Luis Garcilaso, semiconscious and delirious, is caught in the role-playing game:

the Elf King has thrown his soul into Hell, which is cold;

he is lost and blind but feels the wind of the wings of a demon as it attacks him;

as Alvarlan, he asks whether Kendrick and Ricia are also in Hell.

Jean Broberg can comfort Luis only by staying in role:

Ricia's mind hears how Alvarlan's spirit calls;
she can lead him back to the light;
Kendrick and Ricia have escaped from Hell;
Kendrick seeks a way home;
Ricia seeks Alvarlan;
she offers her hand.

Luis dies but Ricia has called Alvarlan's soul out of Hell and he dies peacefully.
