A Circus Of Hells, CHAPTER EIGHTEEN.
Flandry, impersonating Ydwyr on the radio - he does not have to look like him! -, concludes:
"'Signing off. Honor to the God, the Race and the Roidhun!'" (p. 339)
Human beings like to do things in threes and maybe Merseians do as well. When offering incense, we say:
"Homage to the Buddha. Homage to the Dharma. Homage to the Sangha."
The Dharma and the Sangha are the teaching and the monastic order/Buddhist community, respectively. Thus, despite a superficial resemblance, there is almost no overlap or correspondence between these two triads - although reading one reminds us of the other.
Blog readers might think of other examples while I sleep on it.

Kaor, Paul!
And if my memory is correct, I was reminded of how one of Stirling's Draka could say to another: "Glory to the Race," and the other Draka would respond "Service to the State." Things like that helped to inspire my article "Was The Domination Inspired By Merseia?"
Ad astra! Sean
