A Circus Of Hells, CHAPTERs SIXTEEN and SEVENTEEN.
Of the Ruadrath:
"His breath did not smoke like a human's or Merseian's; to conserve interior heat, his respiratory system was protected by oils, not moisture, and water left him by excretion only."
-SIXTEEN, p. 323.
It would be too easy for film makers to show Ruadrath with smoking breath. Instead, they should make a point of showing Flandry's breath smoking while the Ruad's does not.
When Flandry hijacks and escapes in a Merseian airbus, it contains the following Eriau reading matter:
the pilot's manual;
the Book of Virtues;
some scientific journals;
the Dayr Ynvory epic;
a "...volume about Talwin and how to survive on it..."
-SEVENTEEN, p. 325.
We know that there is a Vach Ynvory but not what the phrase, "Dayr Ynvory," might mean and we wonder whether the Book of Virtues is a scripture of the God.

Kaor, Paul!
Yes, the BOOK OF VIRTUES might be a Merseian scripture. And the Dayr Ynvory saga was the example I vaguely recalled of a piece of Merseian literature being mentioned.
And Flandry would read with GREAT interest the volume on how to survive on Talwin!
Ad astra! Sean
