I refer to the revision of
Agent Of The Terran Empire suggested in the previous
post, which would comprise a short Captain Flandry tetralogy. In the opening installment, "Tiger By The Tail," Admiral Thomas Walton assesses Captain Dominic Flandry whereas, in the concluding installment, "Hunters of the Sky Cave," Fleet Admiral Sir Thomas Walton works with Captain Sir Dominic Flandry. Thus, Walton represents yet another fictional biography woven into the background of the Technic History although, in this case, we see only these two stages in Walton's career.
The tetralogy is united by Walton in its first and fourth installments, by Aycharaych in the second and fourth and by Flandry in all four. Also, Flandry's superior, Fenross, appears in the fourth installment and reappears later in "Warriors from Nowhere," although, in the order in which these stories were published, "Warriors from Nowhere" came first.
The unity and continuity of Flandry's career is clearer when the stories are presented in a coherent order.

Kaor, Paul!
I am sorry we don't see Admiral Walton again in either A KNIGHT OF GHOSTS AND SHADOWS or A STONE IN HEAVEN.* It's plain Flandry had the highest possible personal and professional opinion of Sir Thomas!
Ad astra! Sean
*I did not mention or include THE GAME OF EMPIRE because Admiral Walton might have retired from active service by then.
