First, AA Craig and Winston P. Sanders were pen names of Poul Anderson.
Secondly, they showed up as characters in two of his future histories. See the above links.
Thirdly, they recurred as code names in Harvest Of Stars, the opening volume of a later future history. See 22, pp. 207, 212.
And I think that Anderson is unique in writing so many future histories.

Kaor, Paul!
As we know, Poul Anderson liked to indulge in some small jokes once in a while. Such as by using "A.A. Craig" in his Technic Civilization as the author of TALES OF THE GREAT FRONTIER. Next, he used "Winston P. Sanders" in two ways, as the pseudonymous author of "The Word to Space," and then as the narrator of "Recruiting Nation," the last of his Flying Mountains stories.
But I don't think Anderson ever used a third pseudonym, "Michael Karageorge," like that in any of his stories. Btw, "Karageorge" is a well known name in Serbia, the name of the former ruling dynasty of that country. A family which still exists.
Drat, I seem to have completely missed how Anderson used "A.A. Craig" and "Winston P. Sanders" in HARVEST OF STARS. Another thing to look out for when I reread that book.
Yes, aside from S.M. Stirling and Harry Turtledove, Anderson was one of those fairly rare authors who wrote many different kinds of "alternate histories."
