Poul And A Pole

Stanislaw Lem was Polish. His The Star Diaries (Penguin, 2004) is humorous. Thus, the most comparable series by Poul Anderson might be "Hoka" (with Gordon R. Dickson).

In The Star Diaries, "The Seventh Voyage" (presented first for time travel reasons), the narrator, Ijon Tichy, informs us that, on Monday, April 2, he was cruising near Belegeuse in a "rocket" (p. 1).

The differences from Anderson's approach are apparent:

Lem disregards the relativity of simultaneity across interstellar distances;

would a mere rocket be able to "cruise" in interstellar space?;

Anderson always conveys more of a sense of the technicalities of space travel, whether STL or FTL - Tichy's "rocket" has both a "drive regulator" and a "rudder" (p. 1).

Lem's Solaris is a major sf novel, filmed three times. Thus, so far Lem has been treated better than Anderson in films. However, I am not yet sure how well The Star Diaries is going to measure up as a humorous series.
