Percy Shelley

I quote Percy Shelley's poetic response to a massacre here.

In Poul Anderson's works, Shelley provides:

"The world's great age begins anew...," quoted at the beginning of the Nicholas van Rijn story, "Hiding Place";

"A loftier Argo cleaves the main...," quoted at the beginning of the van Rijn story, "The Master Key."

Shelley wrote Prometheus Bound.
His wife, Mary, wrote Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus. Brian Aldiss wrote Frankenstein Unbound. Anderson addresses the Frankenstein theme in Genesis. See here

Kaor, Paul!

I had not known those lines quoted by Anderson came from the works of Shelley. Yet again I'm reminded of how deficient my knowledge of poetry and culture is compared to that of Anderson!
