Everard and Tamberly discuss Beringia in February 1990.

Returning from their mission in the twelfth century, Everard and Tamberly arrive in 1990 a month before they had discussed Beringia. As time travellers, they can do this although usually they live their twentieth century lives consecutively. Tamberly visits her parents on both occasions. They must not realize that Wanda in February is younger than she was in January.
The last time that we see Everard and Tamberly is on Thursday, 8 March 1990, in "Death and the Knight." They have holidayed from January to March and thus have coexisted with their younger selves who discussed Beringia in February.

These complications resulting from time traveling are mind boggling when you think about them!

On a practical note, CCTV cameras would be a potential threat, when combined with facial recognition software. Not in the US of 1990, but if you were in China these days, they might start getting odd results.
OTOH, the Patrol can without doubt fox computers like ours.

This particular complication could have been prevented by having Manse and Wanda discuss Beringia in January, return from the 12th century in February and holiday until March or April.

Kaor, Mr. Stirling and Paul! Mr. Stirling: Unless a Patrol agent got careless and allowed himself to be compromised by such devices. I can imagine that causing problems and headaches for the Patrol. Paul: Then I have to regret how someone did not point out such complications to Anderson around 1990, as he was working on THE SHIELD OF TIME. Unless he wanted those complications. Ad astra! Sean
