Here is a description of the Milky Way that I have missed before:

James Bish's "Angels" propel themselves between stars faster than light whereas Anderson's Aurigeans have to be enclosed in a spaceship's jumpfield.
Both are compared to ball lightning.
An Angel is a four- to seven-foot diametered, internally complicated translucent drop of bright light, its color changing from red to orange to yellow. An Aurigean is a twenty-meter diametered fireball with a hundred-meter-long tail, in color white, red, gold or blue. So did Angels influence Aurigeans?

And I've wondered if those changes of color seen in Aurigeans and Blish's angels was due to changes of mood, emotion, thought, etc., in those beings?

I wanted to let Dr. Shackley's blog readers know why he has been "absent" so long. His daughter informed me that a cable connecting his house and other properties to the Internet was cut. He does not expect to be back online till next Monday.
I was relieved! I was starting to think something seriously bad had happened.
