Founders

The Day Of Their Return.

Aeneas has a "...Founders' Day." (4, p. 105) Thus, there was more than one Founder and we do not know their names.

The colony on Avalon was founded by David Falkayn.

Yovan Matavuly led the Founders of the colony on Dennitza to that planet.

David Jones discovered Daedalus but did he lead its terraforming and colonization?

Falkayn's home planet, Hermes, was colonized by northern Europeans and developed by private corporations but we are not told the names of any Founders.

Any more?

Addendum (see combox): Robert Horn founded Neuheim.

Kaor, Paul!

I can't think of the names of any more founders besides the ones you listed. But see the planet in "A Sun Invisible." I'm almost sure the founder of the human colony in that story was mentioned by name.

It makes sense for human colonized planets to have holidays for honoring their founders. It's a natural thing for humans to do.

Ad astra and Merry Christmas! Sean
