I have tried here to get inside the processes that Anderson imagines. The Patrol uses computers but I like the ideas that a Danellian might be able to think on this level and that there is a level of physics that shows the interconnections between events in Palestine and barbarian Germany.
By flying back to the source of the storm, the Patrol agents cause the storm but then, at least, they know what they are dealing with.
