The Paleotechnic Era

I thought that Poul Anderson's Genesis had mentioned the Anthropocene. It doesn't. It mentions the Paleotechnic! I suppose that they are much the same but I will have to continue rereading Genesis until I find that passage. I found the post about geological eras when searching the blog for "Kalava."

This means that three of Anderson's future histories can be given consecutive titles:

Technic;
Psychotechnic;
Paleotechnic.

They are about the effects of technology on society, psychology and the ecology, respectively.
