One of Poul's jokes was that this guy stranded on a planet of women never gets laid even once. Close, but no cigar.
I think the women have some trouble remembering what a man is for - in detail, I mean.
"Like a fish without a bicycle", as the saying went.
I stole a bit from this; the part where Barbara and her clone/sister settle who gets the guy by throwing dice for him.

Now that was interesting, that you "reused" for one of your books the bit about Barbara and Valeria throwing dice to decide who got Davis Bertram! But I can't recall where this happened in your own works.
