The Earth Book Of Stormgate ,"spans, illuminates and completes" (see image) the first part of Poul Anderson's Technic History whereas the second,
The Imperial Stars, and the third,
The Night Face And Other Stories, are respectively the beginning and end of the second part or, if we prefer,
The Night Face... comprises a shorter, third, post-Imperial part.
Unwell, I feel able to contemplate the structure of the Technic History and to publish short posts but not to reread or analyse texts.

Anderon also revised "Margin of Profit," Incorporated "The White King's War" into A CIRCUS OF HELLS, and revised "Honorable Enemies," "Tiger By The Tail," and "Warriors From Nowhere." The original texts of these stories should be collected, even if no longer canonical.
