In Jotunheim

Rereading Poul Anderson's The Broken Sword, I find much to post about but I also avoid repeating information already summarized in earlier posts, e.g., in September 2012, I posted this summary of events during Skafloc's and Mananaan's visit to Jotunheim.

I had forgotten all of these details and I expect that every other reader of the novel or of this blog has as well so, this morning, please just read or reread the earlier post!

Kaor, Paul!

I looked up the link you gave to that earlier note about THE BROKEN SWORD. And, yet again, I'm reminded of how I SHOULD soon reread either version of that book.

I'm currently rereading Reginald Bretnor's THE SCHIMMELHORN FILE: MEMOIRS OF A DIRTY OLD GENIUS. A collection of comic SF stories about a Swiss cuckoo clock maker who is subconsciously a genius. Often very funny indeed, and Poul Anderson was a friend of Bretnor.
