Diana Crowfeather: The Series?

Diana Flandry seems to have been marketed as a continuation of the Dominic Flandry series in German.

Targovi wants Axor and Diana to accompany him back to Daedalus where they will be conspicuous enough to serve as a distraction from his continued probing into Admiral Magnusson's planned rebellion but this does not sound like an adequate basis for a continuing series so how about? -

Targovi and Diana in Moonjumper II trade and spy around an interstellar circuit;

some of the planets that they visit have Forerunner remains, studied by Axor;

they periodically visit Axor and sometimes transport him between planets;

since the Forerunners were the Chereionites and since Aycharaych the Chereionite, who might be still alive, had spied for the Merseians, might these connections generate further plot developments?;

since Aycharaych no longer has any reason to work for Merseia, might he and Axor become friends and fellow students of Forerunner remains?

I would like to know some results of Axor's researches.

Kaor, Paul!

But, don't forget, in his reply to my letter to him about THE GAME OF EMPIRE, Anderson wrote the origins of that story was in a shorter version originally meant for a role playing game.

I agree, if Anderson had continued the Technic series, some of your speculations might have been used by him. Anderson even wrote he rather hated not planning to write any more stories showing us Diana. But he did want to go on to other ideas and themes.

Ad astra! Sean
