Recent Posts And What Is To Come

Recent posts have summarized information about:

fictitious languages;
authors of fictional works about Mars or Martians;
some ideas about Mars from Blish, Bradbury, Burroughs and Stirling;
three alleged levels of anthropomorphism;
four stages of sf subject-matter, including the themes of several works by Wells;
fictional presentations of versions of chess;
historical heritages in the North West of England;
a discussion of the significance of human life as against the aesthetic value of chaotic terrain;
a reflection on evolution in different planetary environments.

My present point is that there is unlikely to be any more tonight!

I have so far collected only three of the NESFA Collections of Poul Anderson's Shorter Works so there are (how many?) of those still to come.

Kaor, Paul!

I would have included in your list chess or chess like games. As we see "chess" in the works of Burroughs and Stirling. And recall my comments about chess and Poul Anderson's "The Immortal Game."

Correction, you did include chess in your list. I read it too hastily!
