Potlatch

My only point at this late hour is that my late night other reading is again relevant. In Mike Carey's Lucifer: Evensong, God proposes a potlatch to Lucifer. How Lucifer responds, I leave it to readers to discover.

    Sean: yes. Plus a lot of the goods consumed at a potlatch were of the "use it or loose it" type -- subject to decay.
