The Judgment And The Crucifixion

There Will Be Time.

Jack Havig thinks that the Judgment in the twenty-first century is worse than:

"'That's when the whole planet almost goes under,' he said." (V, p. 55)

Havig has observed all five periods. He expects other time travellers to avoid the Judgment so he looks for them elsewhen and finds some:

"...in Jerusalem on the day of the Crucifixion." (ibid.)

Some time travellers will go to that day to observe the Crucifixion so others will go that same day to find each other: Havig and agents of the Eyrie. This leads to that great line in a time travel novel:

"Es tu peregrinator temporis?'" (VI, p. 62)

Havig is no longer alone and his real problems begin.

This evening went well but it is late and time to return to rereading Neil Gaiman. Should be back here tomoz.

  1. Kaor, Paul!

And in the Danellian universe the Time Patrol would be very busy trying to prevent time travelers and time criminals from interfering with the Passion of Christ.

    Ad astra! Sean
