Bores of Duncansbay
On a strip of sand and turf between red cliffs in a narrow inlet of the Caithness coast with wind whistling above, Tauno and Eyjan, seated on fresh seal skins, burn twigs and driftwood with flint, steel and blubber, then roast the seal flesh and an auk and also eat raw fish. We vicariously enjoy this breathing spell after they have kayaked from Greenland.
