Poul Anderson's narratives are full of such descriptions which repay careful rereading. The details this time:
sunset
fiery hilltop
blue dusk
glimmering water
distant sea
red towering clouds
named mountains
Every description is different.
I learned a great deal from Poul's descriptions.
