Dinosaurs And Aquatic Mammals

 

Is there any sf idea that Poul Anderson does not use? This may seem a strange question but he gives the impression of covering everything. Surviving dinosaurs is one example - unless there is some obscure short story that I do not know about? We need not list the writers who have addressed this theme. Some are mentioned elsewhere on the blog (I think).

I have been watching TV instead of blogging. New technology and evidence show that whatever is in Loch Ness is neither a plesiosaur nor a large fresh-water-dwelling mammal. The latter would be spotted and identified when coming up to breathe. Water-dwelling mammals are relevant to Poul Anderson. We recently reread "The Horn of Time the Hunter."
