Orbit Unlimited, Part One

1. Commissioner Svoboda and his colleagues.
2. Theron Wolfe and Joshua Coffin.
3. Torvald Anker.
4. Jan Svoboda with his wife and son.
5. Theron Wolfe and Jan Svoboda.
6. Commissioner Svoboda and Jan Svoboda.

All six sections are conversations except 3 which is mainly an unfinished letter.

Commissioner Svoboda has connived, Theron Wolfe has conferred and at last the way is open for interstellar colonization, as at the end of James Blish's They Shall Have Stars and "Seeding Program." I have yet to reread the Commissioner's concluding conversation with his son.

    Kaor, Paul!

    I have also wondered if Commissioner Svoboda and Theron Wolfe, very, very discreetly, may have come to an "understanding" on how best to forward the exodus to Rustum. That is, Wolfe connived with the Commissioner to advance the emigration.
