Might all the matter in the universe be reorganized into a single brain or at least into a body supporting a brain?
If there is consciousness multiple billions of years in the future, then it will be so unlike us that it is surely a matter of indifference whether it is directly descended from us?

ReplyDeleteEven Stirling's Draka might FLINCH at the very idea of trying to conquer the entire universe! Think of the colossal time and effort needed to even START such a fantastic effort. Even the Draka might be content with merely a single galaxy.
