The Taverners' Charter And Sagittarius
The Time Patrol And The Old Phoenix
"Anomalous Variations In Reality"
That seems to be all.
In A Midsummer Tempest, xii, Valeria Matuchek tells Prince Rupert that the Old Phoenix is in "'...a pocket universe...'" (scroll down)
A "power unknown" controlling a pocket universe in a multiverse that contains not only high tech civilizations but also gods... Whatever the source and purpose of this power, it seems clear that the inn can be kept supplied with food and drink without the Taverners needing to collect coinage from diverse periods from their customers.
See the question in the combox for Telling The Tales.

Kaor, Paul!
I looked up "The Taverners' Charter..." and after reading reading that and the combox I read several of the other blog pieces for July 2019 and their attached comments. I was esp. interested in how you had been starting to read Drake/Stirling's THE GENERAL books and how Stirling responded to our comments!
I have wondered more than once how the Taverners stocked/restocked their inn. Did they have computers for keeping their inventory records in? (Smiles)

Sean: Magic, I'd say.
Kaor, Mr. Stirling!
That makes sense, for story telling purposes. But I've been wondering if the Taverners have anything like the high-tech food maker seen on the "Envoy" in STARFARERS. That is, a device which, after the needed ingredients, proteins, flavorings, and liquids were inserted, could be programmed to make whatever foods or drinks were desired. That way you would not need to haul along a huge mass of bulk foods.
Ad astra! Sean
