In 1987, Manse Everard and Wanda Tamberly eat in Ernie's, San Francisco. However:
"...Manse has said he'd like to take me back to the nineteen-seventies, before the owners of the Mingei-Ya retired." (p. 731)
A benefit of time travel, as previously discussed. See here. Depending on how long the Mingei-Ya was open for, there might be a large, but nevertheless finite, number of occasions when Everard would be able to eat there and he would need to keep a list of the dates that were still open to him. He would have to avoid not only bilocating there but also attending unreasonably often.
He'd also have to worry about being unaging, if he went there over a long span of years.
ReplyDeleteThough Patrol disguise technology would probably be up to that.
Patrol disguises would enable him to visit more than once on the same occasion.
