Breakfast

The Devil's Game, pp. 92-93.

We vicariously enjoy the characters' meals. Larry orders:

ham;
two eggs, sunny side up;
lots of fries -

- but is persuaded instead to sample four scrambled eggs which, apparently, are superb because of:

turmeric;
chives;
cream;
thorough beating.

There is also orange juice and coffee.
