After the author of the website had done some work on it he found Poul Anderson's "The Man Who Counts" & decided to use Anderson's works as the source for place names on Lyr.<br /><br />I mostly consider Lyr to be plausible. One exception is that I think he put Lyr too far from its sun to have liquid water, unless it had so much more CO2 for greenhouse effect that the air would be unbreathable for humans.
