Narrating stories about dangerous adv...Kaor, Paul!<br /><br />Narrating stories about dangerous adventures and exploits in comfortable surroundings is a venerable literary device! One example I immediately thought of from SF being Sterling Lanier's tales featuring the adventures of Brigadier Ffellowes. Series with a similar framework were written by Lord Dunsany, Fletcher Pratt/L. Sprague de Camp, Sir Arthur Clarke, Spider Robinson, etc. Albeit I'm sorry to say I don't think I've read more than one or two of Dunsany's Jorkens stories.<br /><br />Sean Sean M.
