I had a sudden thought, Ys is describ...Kaor, Paul!<br /><br />I had a sudden thought, Ys is described in THE KING OF YS as being originally a colony founded by Phoenician/Punic settlers from Carthage in North Africa. Carthage in turn was founded by colonists from Tyre. Just now I've wondered why we've seen no mention of any formal, official worship of Moloch in Ys, who had human infants sacrificed to him in both Carthage and Tyre. Or was the ritual but deadly combat between the Kings and their challengers meant to substitute for that?<br /><br />My view of the pagan gods is that they are quite literally non-entities, not existing as real BEINGS.
